At Sukha Yoga we offer classes for everyone: for the curious first timers, yogi’s who want to take it a bit slower and those who want to fire up their practice. Please don’t hesitate to ask us if you are unsure about any of our classes and e-mail us here!
Please arrive 5-10 minutes earlier and note that the doors will be locked at the time the class starts. Any late comers cannot attend the class and will not be refunded. Thank you for understanding.
The studio is open 15 minutes before and 15 minutes after each class.
You will need to create an account on Fitogram once. You can book your desired class up to 2 hours before a class starts, simply go to the desired date and click on the class you would like to attend. You can then choose between the different plans and your preferred paying option.
The beginner class introduces the fundamental principles of alignment and breath work in a flow of postures linked together by the breath. Students will be introduced to Yoga postures through step-by-step verbal description and some demonstration. Emphasis is placed on student understanding, safety, and stability within each pose. Gradually these poses will be linked together into a gentle flowing sequence. If you have never tried Yoga this is the class for you, designed to meet the needs of those new to Yoga as well as those seeking continued understanding of basic Yoga poses. Students are welcome to repeat this class as often as they like.
Open Level (Vinyasa)
Vinyasa is dynamic flow Yoga with an emphasis on breath and body movement. In these classes we will practice basic movements and asanas that will help you transition into a more advanced practice as we go. Develop flexibility wherever you might need it, gain strength and conquer your inner voice that tells you to quit in difficult situations.
Even though it will come in handy if you have already got some experience, we will find a safe way to accommodate beginners as well as more advanced movers in each class.
